We’re very happy to announce that we have two new classes starting very soon.
FIGHTING FIT – We’re starting a new early morning class with a focus on fitness. It’s a class using the San Da (kickboxing) techniques from the Kung Fu curriculum, coupled with cardio and bodyweight exercises to give an hour of intense physical training while also learning valuable and effective fighting skills. Any fitness level is welcome, male or female, young or old. Everyone will be encouraged to work to their own limits. Sifu Alan is an International Master of Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu and a fully qualified Personal Trainer, with many years of experience, so this is a class that’s hard to find anywhere else. The Ladies-only Fighting Fit class will continue as usual on Fridays from 9.30 – 10.30 am.
Fighting Fit – Tuesdays from 7.00 – 8.00 am, at the Masonic Hall, 46 Collins Street, Kiama. Starting May 21st, 2013.
SAN DA FIGHTING CLASS – San Da is the sport kickboxing element of Kung Fu and this class concentrates on higher intensity padwork and sparring, with no forms practice. In the San Da class, students will get a lot more practice at the application of Kung Fu techniques and a more intense workout. If people want the benefit of San Da training, but don’t want to spar, that’s no problem – all are welcome to the San Da class whether you train the regular Kung Fu classes or not, or whether you want to spar or not.
San Da Class – Fridays from 6.00 – 7.30 pm, at the Masonic Hall, 46 Collins Street, Kiama. Starting May 24th, 2013.
